Job Descriptions/Tasks for Area Representatives

By 1st Quarter (October)

• Make an e-mail group with coordinators of programs in your area (office & home contact information)
• Encourage all coordinators to join TFLO
• Encourage staff and students to join TFLO

By 2nd Quarter (January)

• Have 100% membership in your region!

By Each Quarter (October, January, March, and June)

• Send group e-mail as a reminder and get information from programs for their activities for the quarter.

Work with Congresspersons and other policy makers

• Invite politicians (local, state, etc…) to site
• Write letters to Senators and Representatives (don't forget parents and children as advocates)
• Forward activities to our Advocacy Team and TFLO President
• Send photos events or visits by politicians to Advocacy Team and TFLO President - explain activity including Who, What, When, etc.
